He is survived by: his parent Marie Aurelie Couture; his wife Catherine "Kay" Bergeron; his children, Joseph Bergeron Jr., Patricia Richer, James Bergeron (Jeanne), Thomas Bergeron (Jeannine), Catherine Gendron, Gary Bergeron (Juliette), Edward Bergeron and Steve Bergeron; his grandchildren, Rosie, Gillian, Stephen Jon, Sabrina, Scott, Sara, Danielle, Brian, Timothy, Nichole, Jessica, Brittany, Katie, Evan, Richard and Celeste; his children, Lisa Marie Hannigan Bartlett and Coleen Hannigan Giroux; and his siblings-in-law, James Hannigan, Richard Hannigan and Evelyn Kane.
