Sweeney of Lowell, Massachusetts, born in Plymouth, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 6, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Francis W. Sweeney and Catherine Sweeney (Secina). He is survived by : his significant other Janet M. Sweeney (Burns); his children, Ann M. Augustyn (Noel) of Chevy Chase, Joseph Sweeney (Della) of Bradenton and Colleen Sweeney (John Miller) of Lowell; his grandchildren, Matthew Augustyn (Megan) of San Antonio, TX, Monica Buck (Lucas) of Royal Oak, MI, Catherine Augustyn of Boston, Stephanie Fink (Bill) of Boston and Jaclyn Shepherd (Blake) of Marietta, GA; his great grandchildren, Sophie, Luke Augustyn of San Antonio, TX, Eleanor Fink of Boston, Ava Shepherd of Marietta, GA and Thomas Buck of Royal Oak, MI.; his siblings, James Sweeney (Constance) of Lowell and Theresa Brosnan (James) of Chelmsford; and his brother-in-law Robert "Ziggy" Burns (Terry) of Dracut. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
