He is survived by: his wife Catherine (Doyle); his children, Joseph Salvatore Zagarella IV of Chelmsford, John W. Zagarella of North Andover, Mary J. Lambert (John) of Tyngsboro, Thomas J. Zagarella of Lowell and Susan A. Mercado (Jose) of Dracut; his grandchildren, Katelyn Maria Mercado, Joseph Salvatore Mercado, Joseph Salvatore Zagarella and Olivia Catherine Lambert; and his sister Teresa Zagarella of North Andover. He is also survived by extended family and many good friends.
