She was predeceased by : her parents, Elias Nicolakakis and Demetra Nicolakakis (Rassias); and her brothers, George, Nicholas, John and Demetrios Nicolakakis.

She is survived by : her husband Vasilios Vergados; her children, Panagiota Xifaras (Stamatis) of Andover, Victoria Vergados of Andover, Nickie Hantzis of Carlisle and Nicholas Vergados of Lowell; her grandchildren, Irene Theodore (Michael), George Xifaras (Eleni), Demetra Gildea (Brian), Byron Chiungos (Nima), Dean Chiungos (Beth), Dean Hantzis, Vasilios Hantzis (Brianne), Peter Hantzis (Ashley), Vasilios Vergados, Costas Vergados and Kyros Vergados; her siblings, Anna Calavritinos of Lowell and Evangelos Nicolakakis of Sparta; and her siblings-in-law, Tasia Nicolakakis of Andover, Athanasios Arvanitis (Angeliki), Vasiliki Papaconstantinou and Hariklia Kofitsas (Markos). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
