She was predeceased by: her husband Robert B. Clegg; her parents, William Leighton and Roberta Leighton (Stavely); her son Scott W. Clegg; her sister Sandra Greathead; and her brother-in-law Kenneth Greathead.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas D. Clegg (Chom Suk Bracey) of Lowell and Sharon A. Hatch of Lowell; her grandchildren, Elisabeth Preble (Austin) of Richlands, NC and Kevin T. Hatch of Lowell; her great grandchild Austin M. Preble Jr.; her daughter-in-law Ann M. Clegg of Lawrence; her sister Louise Legrand of Longmont, CO; her siblings-in-law, Sandra Leighton, Judith Brule and Brian Clegg (Maura); her friend Carol Brousseau; her brother David Leighton; and her siblings-in-law, Janet Clark, Normand Brule and Robert Baker. She is also survived by eighteen nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 gathering restrictions, a private service was held.
