He was predeceased by: his parents, Millicent Burke (Booth) and Francis Joseph Burke; his wife Elizabeth Trull; and his siblings, James, Justin, Joe, Thomas, Margaret Keeter and Mary Clem.

He is survived by: his sister Ellen Burke Ries (Joe). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
