He was predeceased by: his parents, William Chalmers and Gertrude Chalmers (Shaughnessy); and his brother William Chalmers. He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Emanouil and Barbara Dube. He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews, many great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins, and several stepchildren.
