It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Ackerman of Lowell, Massachusetts, born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 13, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Irene A. Ackerman (Donovan); his parents, Henry Ackerman and Emma Ackerman (Hall); and his siblings, Phyllis Phillips and Henry Ackerman.
He is survived by: his children, Robert H. Ackerman, Jr. (Corinne) of North Carolina and Virginia Duhamel (Bruce) of Weare, NH.
