With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley McCarthy (Lowell, Massachusetts), who passed away on April 24, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Mae (Buzzell) and Walter George Arlin; and her sisters, Joan Benoit, Dolores Runyon and Barbara Perry.
She is survived by: her husband George Bernard McCarthy; her children, Kathleen McCarthy of Alton Bay, NH, Karen Butler (LaVaine) of Lowell, Brenda McCarthy of Lowell and George McCarthy Jr. (Gizelia) of Lowell; her grandchildren, Richard Boisvert (Christina) of Lowell, Kara Boisvert of Lowell, Christopher Butler (Jennifer) of Lowell, Jason Butler of New Hampshire, Kaileigh Lamontagne of West Virginia, Ryan Pimentel of South Carolina and Melissa Pimentel of Derry, NH; and her great grandchild Layla Pimentel.
ARRANGEMENTS: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all services will be private.
