He is survived by: his spouse Khamsone Sarasith; his children, Saysoulit Phongsavad and Visamay Souriyamath; and his grandchildren, Sean Phongsavad, Tum Tum Souriyamath and Tamara Phongsavad. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
