McCray of Lowell, Massachusetts, born in Marion, South Carolina, who passed away on January 1, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Truman E. McCray Sr. and Janie Juleese Smith McCray; and his sister Helen Luvenia McCray. He is survived by : his former life partner Priscilla Bradley; his wife Gloria Pickney; his children, Debra Janie McCray of Carthage, NC, Darren Elliot McCray of Carthage, NC, Devlin Truman McCray of Chelmsford, MA, Dawn Priscilla McCray Holland (Mark) and Brian Jon McCray (Rebecca) of Chelmsford, MA; and his siblings, Miriam Smith Kennedy, Diana McCray of Washington, DC, Amanda McCray Lewis (Maceo), Laura Newman, Truhan McCray (Diane) and Marshall McCray. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family.
