He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlete Bettencourt and Joao Bettencourt; his grandchildren, Jamie and Kenny Bettencourt; his sister Maria (Jose Cipriano); and his siblings-in-law, Heliodor Lima, Joseph Duarte, Izilda and Manuel Lima.
He is survived by: his children, Manuel (Maria Bettencourt) of Palm Coast, FL and Maria (Paul Kern) of Dracut, MA; his grandchildren, Steven (Elizabeth Melo) of Dracut, MA, Erik Bettencourt of Lowell, MA, Garett Campbell (Elizabeth Mallon) of Salem, NH, Sara Bettencourt of Hobe Sound, FL and Matthew Campbell of Derry, NH; his great grandchildren, Skylar of Dracut, MA and Jensen Melo of Dracut, MA; his siblings, Florentino, Igualdina Lima (Bettencourt) of Toronto and Francelina Duarte (Bettencourt) of Chelmsford, MA; and his friend Maria Picanso of New Bedford, MA.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, HIS FUNERAL AND BURIAL IN ST. JOSEPH CEMETERY WILL BE HELD PRIVATELY.
