It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia E. Makarewicz of Lowell, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 26, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Aloysius F. Makarewicz; her parents, John J. DePaulis and Ellen M. DePaulis (Sheeley); and her siblings, John DePaulis of Lowell, Rita Taylor of Dracut, Eileen Champagne of North Chelmsford, Mary Shaughnessy of Chelmsford, Columba Murphy and Margaret Coldwell of Lowell.
She is survived by: her children, Ellen D. Domoracki (Edward) of Windermere, Florida and Alan F. Makarewicz (Michelle); her grandchildren, Stephanie Panarelli (Vincent), Edward Domoracki of New York City, Alec Makarewicz (Cindy) of Lowell, Jason LeBlanc, Chase Makarewicz of Spring Hill and Alan F. Makarewicz of Milford, N. H.; her great grandchildren, Natalia Makarewicz of Lowell, Evalyn Makarewicz and Jacob LeBlanc of Florida; and her brother-in-law William Shaughnessy of Chelmsford. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
