It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter S. Burns (Lowell, Massachusetts), who passed away on December 11, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent James F. Burns; his sibling James Burns; and his spouse Jeannette Y. Burns (Barry). He is survived by: his parent Mary A. Burns (McNally); his son Mark S. Burns; his children-in-law, Marie Burns of Lowell and Laurie A. Burns; his significant other Paul Gionet of Billerica; his grandchildren, Ryan (Anissa), Michaela, Avery, Stephen, Sean, Sarah and Melanie; his great grandchildren, Mason and Bronson; his sister-in-law Peggy Burns of Dracut; and his siblings, John Burns, Phillip Burns and Mary Brill.
