He was predeceased by: his parents, William McCormick and Lillian McCormick (McCarty); and his nieces, Heather J. Flynn (Stewart) and Lorraine Perry (Stewart). He is survived by: his wife Marilyn A. McCormick (Stewart); his children, Melissa A. Simpson (William) of Groton, W. John McCormick III (Paula), Robert S. McCormick (Barbara) and Edward J. McCormick (Suzanne); his sisters, Nancy E. Brewer of South Dennis and Maureen A. Kandrick of Lowell; his brother-in-law R. Kendall Stewart (Dale); his nieces, Kathryn A. Hazel (Michael) of Chelmsford and Emily F. Murray-Stewart of Medford; and his grandchildren, Brendan Simpson (Chloe Lewis), Nicholas Simpson, Dr. Robert McCormick (Emma Newby), Lauren, Tyler, Cooper, Cassidy McCormick and Victoria Gaudino. He is also survived by cousins, extended family, friends.
