He was predeceased by: his parents, Agostinho Dias and Maria Dias (Teixeira); and his siblings, Isabel Rodrigues and Jose Dias. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Dias Bradway (Edward), Christopher Dias (Christa) and Steven Dias; his grandchildren, Nathan, Mia, Madison and Paulo; and his siblings, Theresa Stellato (Charlie), Maria Ribeiro (Armando), Ana Goncalves (Antonio) and Domingos Dias (Adelaide). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
