He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Valdegas and Maria Valdegas (Lage); and his daughter Anita. He is survived by: his wife Maria Silveira; his children, Antonio Luis Valdegas and Lurdes Valdegas; and his grandchildren, Nazier, Emelia, Gabriel and Olivia. He is also survived by 6 brothers and 2 sisters as well as several nieces and nephews.
