He is survived by: his parents, Armindo Teixeira and Joaquina Teixeira (Lage); his brother Jorge F. Teixeira (Kimberly) of Wilbraham; his niece Charlotte A. Teixeira; and also David. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, godchildren, extended family members, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David's memory to The Michael J. Dias Foundation, 398 East St. Ludlow, Ma. 01056.
