He was predeceased by: his parents, Domingos Garete and Emelia Garete (Costa). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Garete (Walczak); his sons, Dominic (Donna) of Belchertown, Scott (Sandy) of Ludlow, Joseph (Laura) of Ludlow and Steven (Carolyn) of Wilbraham; his sister Celeste Bontempo (Joseph) of Toms River, NJ; and his sister-in-law Beverly Henriques (Jack) of Ludlow. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
