He was predeceased by: his parent Antonio Joao; and his brothers, Jose, Manuel, Francisco and Arnoldo.
He is survived by: his parent Elisa Joao (Rainha); his wife Ana Joao (Martins) of Indian Orchard; his daughters, Maria Salvador (Bino), Susana Cardaropoli (Scott) and Irene Stromberg; his grandchildren, Kristine, Peter, Michael, Christopher and Timothy; his great grandchildren, Leslie, Kaleb and Kigan; and his siblings, Antonio, Dino, Luis, Jack Joao, Maria Vitorino, Connie Filipe and Trinda Agostinho. He is also survived by brothers/sisters –in-law, many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
