He is survived by: his wife Maria Surreira Alves of Ludlow; his children, Antonio Alves (Amanda) of Ludlow and Elisa Killeen (Donald) of Ludlow; his granddaughters, Sara, Emilia and Eleanor; his sisters, Maria Afonso (Jose) and Teresa Dos Santos; and his sister-in-law Maria Helena Alves.
