It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilberto Silva Desousa (Ludlow, Massachusetts), who passed away on October 4, 2019, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maria DeSousa (Livracão); his children, Lisa Balboa (Michael) of Voorheesville, NY, Gabriella and Alexandra Balboa; and his siblings, João "John" Sousa (Maria Diolinda) of Ludlow, Maria Lina Goncalves (José) of Ludlow, Candida Gomes (Gualdino) of Ludlow, Maria Albina Fontes (Domingos) of Wilbraham, Maria Aida Goncalves (José Joaquim) of Agawam, Antonio Silva Sousa of Portugal and Guilhermina Silva Sousa of Portugal. He was also cherished by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
