He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Mendes and Barbara Mendes (Nunes); his brothers, Antonio and Albert (Birdie); and his son Todd.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Mendes (Bojan); his sons, Dean and Mark; his siblings, Barbara and Manuel; and his grandchildren, Christian, Bryanna and Cory. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, in-laws, and friends.
