He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Carneiro and Jesuina Carneiro; his wife Lucille Santos; and his brothers, Antonio and Americo Carneiro.
He is survived by: his daughter Andrea Carneiro (Renee Sevigny); and his sister Hilda Dias. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
