He was predeceased by: his wife Joaquina. He is survived by: his children, Maria Gomes (Hector) of Ludlow, Maria Julia Dias of Ludlow and Carlos Dias (Maria); his grandchildren, Jeffrey Dias of Ludlow, Marco Gomes (Leigh) of Ludlow and Jacqueline Dias of Ludlow; his great grandchild Gabriella Gomes; and his siblings, Jose, Maria of Brazil, Emilia of Portugal and Ana.
