He was predeceased by: his parents, George Veighey and Mary Campbell (Grimes); and his sister Ann "Lucky" Kinsley. He is survived by: his daughters, Patty Veighey (John Melnick) of Thorndike and Cyndi Veighey of Westfield; his grandchildren, Jesse and Brian; his great grandchild Madelyn; and his brothers, George Veighey of Walla Walla, WA and Richard Veighey of Feeding Hills.
