He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kochanek and Pauline Kochanek (Gralenski) of Ludlow, MA; and his sisters, Teresa Tripp of Westerly, RI, Irene Dragon of Arlington, VA, Phyllis Middleton of Ludlow, MA and Mimi Kochanek of Ludlow.
He is survived by: his uncle Koko; his son Lou Kochanek (Koko) of Westfield, MA.; his wife Theresa Kochanek (Pisarczyk) of Ludlow; his son John L. Kochanek of East Longmeadow, MA; his grandchildren, Emily Kochanek Ketner of Somerville, MA and Peter Kochanek of Philadelphia, PA.; and his grandson-in-law Alex.
Due to Covid restrictions, a private burial with family and friends will take place when the family is ready.
