He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leonard Humphries and Josephine Humphries (Cowhey); his foster parents, John Leonard and Mary Leonard (Cope); his siblings, Claire Duffy, Edward Humphries, Gertrude Hadenchuk, Julia Flanders, Norma Berard and Marion Myette; his siblings' children, Jeri Humphries of Ludlow, Judi Humphries of East Longmeadow, James Duffy, Roger Duffy and Susan Rowe; his adoptive son Yong "Jackie" Hwang of Ohio; his longtime fellow dancers, Lynn Jasmin, Lynn Connolly and Gayle Midura; and his close friends, Norton, David Owen, Richard, Steven LaBorde, Gary Maharne, Arabinda Saoo and Ipshita Sahu. He was also cherished by many other nieces and nephews.
