Manuel Mendes Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Manuel Mendes of Ludlow, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 3, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelina Mendes and Francisco Mendes; and his siblings, Jose Mendes and Conceição Mendes. He is survived by: his family Portuguese; his wife Maria R. Mendes; his children, Luis F. Mendes of Ludlow, Maria Alice Beaulieu (Richard) of Southwick and Cristina Mendes Fialho (Nelson) of Ludlow; his grandchildren, Rachel A. Beaulieu, Stephanie N. Popovichenko (Eduard), Julianna A. Beaulieu, Emma M. Fialho and Noah M. Fialho; and his siblings, Rosa Gomes (Mendes), Tomás Mendes, Benedita Ribeiro (Mendes) and Resurreição Barros (Mendes). He is also survived by nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, brother and sister- in-laws.

The family has kindly requested that face masks be worn by anyone attending his services.
