It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marcelina MacHado of Ludlow, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 4, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Vaz and Maria Vaz (Fernandes); her brother Joao Vaz; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Vaz. She is survived by: her husband Fernando Machado of Ludlow; her daughter Christina Brown (Kevin) of Ludlow; her grandchildren, Alexandre and Madeline; her siblings, Maria Castro (Manuel) and Julio Vaz (Maria); and her pet Fofinha. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family members and dear friends.
A walk-through visitation adhering to social distancing and non contact will be on Saturday morning from 9:15-10:30am followed by a Liturgy of Christian Mass celebrated at 11:00am in Our Lady of Fatima Church followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery.
