She was predeceased by: her husband Fernando Correia; her sister Celeste; her children, Antonio Afonso, Maria Cruz and Cristina Afonso; and her grandson Nelson Cruz.
She is survived by: her children, Celso Correia (Betsy), Julie Almeida (Joe) and Paula Pinto (Eddie); her grandchildren, Fernando, Julia, Gisele, Nicholas, Rachel, Cody, Jessica and Kyle; and her siblings, Serafim, Jack, Ana and Lucia. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
