She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Szarlan and Valeria Szarlan (Kareta); her daughter April Jean Fowler; and her sister Charlotte Clough. She is survived by: her children, Scott Fowler (Kim) of Stafford Springs, CT, Sue Wehner (Jim) of Ludlow, Amy Fowler of Northborough and Amanda McFarland (Bryan) of Westfield; her grandchildren, Maximilian, Adam, Rebecca, Emma and Elle; and her brother Richard Szarlan (Jane) of Palm Harbor, FL. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, extended family members, and dear friends.
