He was predeceased by: his parents, John Appleton and Nellie Appleton (Serafino); his wife Patricia M. Appleton (McCarthy); his son John Appleton; his daughter-in-law Patricia Appleton (Moriarty); and his siblings, Mary O'Master, Jeanette Ott, Ann Petty and John Appleton.
He is survived by: his sons, Ralph Appleton (Eleanor) and James Appleton (Bethany); and his brother William Appleton. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren, his 12 great grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.
Due to Covid-19, all services for Ralph will be private.
