He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John C. Garand and Garand Rifle; his wife Kathleen Garand (Michaud) of Ludlow; his children, Richard N. Garand Jr. of Ludlow and Kimberley Wolcott of Greenfield; his sister Janice Premont of Houston, TX.; his grandchildren, Sean, Heather and Andrew; and his great grandchild Lorraine. He was also cherished by other extended family members and friends.
