He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold Parse and Mary Parse; his wife Constance Parse (Williams); his daughters, Donna Parker of Agawam, Darlene Sullivan (Kevin) of Belchertown and Marie Parse of Ludlow; his stepchildren, Linda Taylor (Bruce), Bob Naginewicz (Annette) of Chicopee and David J. Naginewicz of Thorndike; his grandchildren, Connor Sullivan, Logan Sullivan, Kayla Taylor, Zachary Taylor, David T. Naginewicz, Joshua Naginewicz, Tricia Callahan and Tyler Naginewicz; and his siblings, Nancy St, Ronald Parse (Kathy) of Barre and Kit McShera of Wales. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews; many loving extended family members, as well as dear friends.

Burial will be held at the convenience of the family, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Roy's memory to Beacon Hospice 815 Worcester St. Indian Orchard, Ma. 01151 or Dakin Humane Society (http://www.dakinhumane.org).
