She was predeceased by: her spouse Kenneth Fitzgerald. She is survived by: her children, Armand Roy of Appleton, Sandra Shaw of Florence, Cynthia Hopkins of Ludlow and Jennifer Fitzgerald of Three Rivers; and her siblings, Edward Collings, Helen Cannamela, Edith Tipton, Edna, Husen and Paula Chartier. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers it was the wish of Shirley's family that donations be made in her memory to Shriners Children Hospital or the Alzheimer's Association.
