He was predeceased by: his spouse Dorvalina Stetson (Santos); his parents, Ellis W. Stetson and Elsie J. Stetson (Tobin); and his sibling Richard Stetson. He is survived by: his children, Edward Stetson, Jr. (Carol) of Salem and Gail Hanasik (Stephen) of Chesapeake, VA; his grandchildren, Christopher Stetson, Michael Stetson (Angela), Jeanie Garcia (Duarte), Jennifer Stetson, Deborah Armentrout-Bell and Gerald "Bubba" Armentrout; his great grandchildren, Matthew, Cameron, Leah, Tyler, Michael, Jessica, Jay, Trey and Austin; his great great grandchildren, Aiden, Ryleigh and Jasper; his sibling Oliver Stetson; and his close friends, Marie Frost, Dottie and Mike Ciampa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
