We are sad to announce that on March 9, 2020, at the age of 89, James C. Callahan Jr. (Lynn, Massachusetts) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carol Doane Callahan; his parents, James C. Callahan and Mary Louise Callahan (Landry) of New Park Street; his sister Marie Brown; his children, Elizabeth Murphy (Brian) of Swampscott, J. Christopher Callahan (Anne) of Shelburne, VT, Matthew D. Callahan (late Marybeth) of Marblehead and John A. Callahan (Diane) of Norton; his grandchildren, Kathryn LeFevre (Patrick), Daniel Callahan, Emily Callahan, Regina Brown (Cody), Kathleen Flanagan (Michael), Charlotte Callahan, Lilly Foster (O'Keefe), Patrick Callahan, Suzanne Gassman (Chris), Caroline Murphy and Christopher Murphy; his great grandchildren, Patrick Joseph, Andrew, Megan, Madeline, Bennett and Shane; his sister Jean Dennis (William) of Swampscott; and his sister-in-law Mary Doane Cassidy of Swampscott. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
