He is survived by: his daughter Julie Patterson (Sullivan); his grandchildren, Kelsey O'Connor and Trevor Patterson; his former wife Penny Sullivan; and his siblings, Paula Faino (Richard), Mary Sullivan, Denise Stewart (Tom) and Dennis Sullivan (Ann Marie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
