With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn R. Carmody of Lynnfield, Massachusetts, born in Brunswick, Maine, who passed away on June 1, 2021 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Evelyn R. Carmody to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Fred Brooks and Edna Brooks (Hamlin); her husband Joseph V. Carmody (Hood); and her brother Fred Brooks. She is survived by : her children, Joseph V. Carmody II (Eileen) of Brentwood, NH, Janis E. Carmody of Lynnfield, Cheryl A. Deveau (Michael) of Brush Prairie, WA and J. Michael Carmody (Susan) of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Joseph V. III, Christopher J., Mark A. and Melissa E.; her great grandchildren, Amber, Taylor and Lillie; and her sister Louise Christy. She is also survived by "mom" to her children and their friends.
