He was predeceased by: his close friend Kathy Si; and his parents, Israel Chatis and Mary Chatis (Kurr). He is survived by: his close friend Lahey Hospital; his daughter Michelle Gordon of Lynn; and his grandchildren, Cynthia, Natlie, Maya and Juel. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
