She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Nicholson and Mary Nicholson of Cambridge; her husband Warren Gertz; her son Martin Gertz; and her siblings, Jean, Jim, Donald and Dorothy.
She is survived by: her sons, Edward Gertz (Valerie) of Malden and Kenneth Gertz (Liz) of Malden; her daughter-in-law Karen Yerkes (Michael); her granddaughter Kerri Cranwell (Evan); and her friend Ellen Grasso. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
