With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ann M. Porter (Marblehead, Massachusetts), born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 11, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Rufus B. Porter; her parents, Arthur Kimber and Emma Kimber (Hartry); and her sibling Reverend Arthur F. Kimber of Hyannis, MA.. She is survived by: her children, Judith Goldman (John McCurdy) of Swampscott, MA, David, Bonnie Porter of Lake Clear, NY, Michael Porter of Tamworth, NH and Susan Maitland of Swampscott, MA.; her grandchildren, Matthew Sandler (Stacey) of Fairfax, VA, Michael Sandler (Heidi) of Lowell, MA, Brian Sandler (David) of Manchester, NH, Jennifer Cameron (Jayme) of Beverly, MA, Jason Porter of Berwick, ME, John Porter (Amanda Dixey) of Salem, MA, Derek Porter of Waterbury, VT, Christopher and Kyle Maitland of Swampscott, MA.; and her great grandchildren, Harper Sandler, Natalie, Jillian Sandler, Layla, Ivy Cameron, Rowan Porter, Sylas Porter, Amelia and Grayson Porter.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ann's name to the Lafayette Rehabilitation home in Marblehead, MA.
