Jon Papps Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jon Papps of Marblehead, Massachusetts, born in Morristown, New Jersey, who passed away on December 20, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George H. Papps Jr. and Elizabeth DuBois (Verschuur); his wife Deborah Papps (Collins); his sons, Jon C. Papps (Diane) of Simpsonville, SC and Jeffrey G. Papps of St. Augustine, FL; his stepchildren, Robert Duff of North Conway, NH, Allison Duff (Alan Barth) of Salem and Stephen Duff (Michele) of Philadelphia, PA; his sister-in-law Elizabeth Papps; his cousin Carol Wetmore; and his brother G. Oliver Papps. He was also cherished by two nieces, 3 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions a church memorial service at Grace Episcopal Church in Salem will hopefully be held in the months to come and burial will be in Waterside Cemetery, Marblehead.
