With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John C. Magennis (Mashpee, Massachusetts), born in Roslindale, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 1, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sibling Margaret Keith; and his parent Joseph Magennis. He is survived by: his spouse Mary J. Magennis (Kane); his children, Colleen Cochrane (Robert) of Dedham, Maureen MacNaught of Norton, Kelly Tonole (Richard) of Lunenburg, MA, Christine Cochrane (James) of Norton and John Magennis Jr.; his grandchildren, Meghan, Patrick, Mollie, Jameson, Samuel, Jessica, Lilly, Shamus, Colin and Emma; his siblings, Ann Haughey of Walpole, James Magennis of Mashpee and Joseph Magennis; and his parent Annabella Magennis (O'Hara).
