He was predeceased by : his parents, William J Sweeney and Virginia Sweeney (Adler); and his siblings, Judith McKie and David M Sweeney. He is survived by : his wife Annette Sweeney (Colantonio); his sons, Jonathan T Sweeney (Valerie) of Swampscott and Andrew L Sweeney (Caitlin) of Milton; his siblings, William J Sweeney (Leslie) of Mattapoisett, Paul L Sweeney (Kathleen) of Hopkinton, Margaret Snyder of Virginia and Susan Stalnaker (Charles) of Oregon; his sisters-in-law, Carol Sweeney of Clinton and Barbara Kelly of Marshfield; and his grandchildren, Jake, Brooke, Avery, Maeve and Claire. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
