He was predeceased by : his wife Dolores A. "Dolly" Edgar (Van Vorse); his parents, Russell E. Edgar and Hazel M. Edgar (Short); and his sister Betty Young. He is survived by : his daughter Donna M. Garven; his granddaughters, Meghan and Kathryn; and his brothers-in-law, Raymond Van Vorse and Ray. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Due to restrictions because of the pandemic, the funeral service at Acton Funeral Home, Acton, with burial with US Army honors in St. Bridget's Cemetery, Maynard, are private.
