He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Tranfaglia and Carolina D'Italia; his wife Maria (Russo); his son Giovanni Tranfagla; and his siblings, Teresina Martiniello, Palmina Bocchino and Amalia DeLuca.
He is survived by: his children, Katia Altieri, Antonio Tranfaglia, Franco Tranfaglia, Rita Sabbey and Carolina Lucchetti; his sibling Ersilia Giangregorio of Italy; and his grandchildren, Daiven and Kason Savarino. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
