He was predeceased by: his sister Madeline Gilardi; and his sister-in-law Margaret O'Brien (James). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Walsh; his children, Catherine Kelter (late Ed) of Salem, Laura Hamadeh (Al O'Connor) of Melrose, Nancy Hamel of Cumberland, RI, Christina Schwab (William) of Boulder, CO and Anthony J. Gilardi, Jr. (Jennifer) of Chanhassen, MN.; his son-in-law Steven Hamel; his siblings, Josephine "Lorraine" Gilardi of Melrose and Gerald Gilardi; his grandchildren, Elias Kelter, Rosana Lavender (Tom), Kyra Hamel, Luke Hamel, Kathleen "Katy" Schwab, Mia Schwab, Anna Gilardi and Joseph Gilardi; his great grandchild Iona Lavender; and his friend Barbara Shore of Melrose. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
All attendees are required to wear masks, maintain social distancing, and pay their respects and exit the Funeral Home promptly to allow other guests to enter.
