We are sad to announce that on April 12, 2021, at the age of 56, Christine A. Haynes of Melrose, Massachusetts, born in Mount Vernon, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by : her parents, Harold Torpey and Wilma Torpey (Potyka); her children, Jessica, Scott Haynes, Matthew Barker and Heather Cathey; her grandchildren, Kennedy Barker, Teagan, Logan and Liam Elliott; her sisters, Lucy and Ellen; her brothers-in-law, Timothy McLaughlin and Troy Nielsen; and her pets, Buzz and Karma.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Massachusetts Coalition for Suicide Prevention.
